As Natasha and I were photographing this look, two gentlemen––maybe in their early 30s––walked passed us and one said something like, “Oh, the fragility of art.” She and I laughed because they were referring to the broken egg I dropped for one of the shots (and hopefully no one hunts me down and reprimands me for it). When we finished shooting and began to leave LACMA, one of them asked us, “Were you guys taking Tinder photos?” We replied and said no; again, Natasha and I laughed because it was hilarious 😛
What are some things people have asked/said to you?
I’ve always been a big fan of the beach, so I guess it’s safe to call me a beach boy.
When I was living in Hawaii––as well as when I visit––I always hit up my favorite beach: Makapu’u, on the east side of Oahu. Here in California, it’s a little difficult to find nice beaches because the water is cold and sometimes saturated with a ton of sea plants.
This is my approach to a beach shoot with a “handsome/dapper” vibe––not your average “at-the-beach” look. It was unexpectedly and extremely windy, so don’t mind my wild hair and crazy eyes; let’s just say it’s all part of the mood/vibe I was going for 😉
What are some of your favorite beaches you frequent?
