When things go well, you can’t help but have a good day.
I’ve been a fan of the whole mid-century, 50s style lately, which is why I picked up this polo from H&M; it has that American vibe. Hanging out with Tiff and her cousin, we decided to shoot at this old school Volkswagen. As we began to shoot, the couple who owns the VW pulled up with their Lemonade lunch in hand. The kind gentleman asked if we wanted him to unlock the van for us to shoot in, and we gladly accepted. Holla! It gave us the opportunity to photograph the look not just around the van but inside it as well. The colors of the red against the foliage of our surroundings were, of course, complimentary and made capturing great images almost effortless.

Los Angeles has many hidden gems; here’s one of them.
I’ve always been a fan of the great outdoors––whether it’s a small hike, camping, or having a little picnic somewhere out of the city. Tiffany and I semi-explored Franklin Canyon, just up Beverly Boulevard through Beverly Hills. Though it’s through a winding road, the end is quite breathtaking––a small lake, a little pond with koi and dino ducks like ones seen here. Reaching the great outdoors is just outside the city but still far enough away to feel like a “getaway.” Don’t take my word for it? Check it out yourself.
What are some other sites to see in Los Angeles or anywhere that you would consider a “hidden gem?”
